Our zoo is in Hilo about 2 1/2hours away usually the weather is cold and rainy, but not this day it was so hot and humid!! We went on a Saturday with a friend and her son Micah to the petting zoo. There are lots of monkeys, birds, and lizards at the zoo it is fairly small and perfect for little kids. The coolest animal is the white tiger which we stayed to watch them feed it 5lb of steaks and 2-3 whole chickens dead of course but, all the wild chickens running around the zoo have no idea they might be the next meal!

The petting zoo was pretty fun, Gracie liked to pet the duck and Katelyn liked the bunnies unfortunately because no strollers were allowed in the petting zoo holding Ryken and taking pictures was a little difficult. Gracie was over the petting zoo pretty quickly she said "mom lets get out of here it smells ucky in here" and it sure did!

we love the zoo! Hey I even have some free passes and a buy one get one free to the pocatello zoo so we should go while you guys are here!
Are you taking these pictures yourself??? I really want to improve my photos of the kids. What camera do you use, and how do you edit and arrange them so cutely? These look professional. Thanks for any tips!
These zoo pictures were takin by my friend who has a really nice professional camera and she did the layout in photoshop. I did take the photos of my girls though, with the Luminex 10x optical zoom camera and I think they turned out pretty good though they aren't professional!!
