I know I am catching up!

Baby Girl
It's all GirlsKatelyn the proud big sister again and this girl loves to hold her sister and I just love how much that helps meThe proud big sister and don't mess with her baby! When they put the foot warmer on the baby to do the PKU test at the hospital Gracie started crying get that off my baby!The first family picture!

Our cute little addition to our family she loves to suck she took right to her binkie and has a very calm disposition which we hope doesn't go away.

Our baby has arrived

April 17th 2009 I woke up at 2 am to contractions they were not as strong as I had remembered Gracie's being so I walked around debating if I should wake up Eric since he had been working all week from 5am till 10pm and that night he was late and got home at 11pm. At 2:30 I woke Eric up to time the contractions that were 4-7 minutes apart and not the same length each time. He was obviously tired and in need of sleep so I told him I would take a shower and then time them after. Well after a nice hot shower I had more painful contractions and had a strong impression that we should GO NOW! So I woke up Eric at 3:30 and told him to call our friend to come watch the kids and the hospital to tell them we were coming. Our Friend arrived around 4am and I walked down to the car right before I opened the car door I had a strong contraction and my water broke. Eric ran back in the house and grabbed a pile of towels. I didn't want to get in the car I was in pain and knew the next contraction I would have to push and we were not going to make it to the hospital 30 minutes away. They pushed me in the car holding the back of the passenger seat kneeing tense praying we would make it safe to the hospital and I could hold the baby in. Sure enough the strong sensation to push took over and I felt the head between my legs I screamed the baby head is out Eric call someone we are having this baby he of course felt and in panic called 911 at 4:16am. He pulled over the car and checked and the head was crowning I screamed keep driving and talk or I will loose all hope of making it to the hospital. He started driving and told the dispatcher he would pull over at saddle road and wait for the EMT's I told him that we were going to have this baby as soon as the car stopped so keep driving but he reassured me the EMT's would be there to deliver the baby. Eric ran around the car the dispatcher instructed him to support the head and be careful the baby would be slippery my next contraction I pushed twice and baby was in Eric's arms at 4:25am. The EMT's arrived about 3 minutes later and pinched off the cord and drove baby and I to the hospital. Eric followed behind with an adrenaline rush of a lifetime. This is where we stopped in our Honda Pilot to wait for the EMT's but instead Eric got his MD! Mommy with baby at the hospital

Considering all the complications you can have delivering a baby we are so bless to have had a miracle birth.

Easter

I Love Easter it is my favorite holiday so even though I was 9 months pregnant we still had fun doing the usual Easter things and the girls will have candy till Christmas!

The girls had so much fun decorating eggs and then they ate them up! Who knew my kids liked boiled eggs so much!

Baby Shower

Diaper Cake! My friends were so sweet to throw me another shower although I am having another girl any excuse for a girls night and a party!!

My friend came to take me to my baby shower and she brought her wig her husband doesn't know about so she could put it on at our house, and of course we couldn't help but try it on Gracie!! My friend is so funny she told her husband that she wanted to start dying her hair blonde but, after she told him how much it would cost to keep up the highlights he let her buy a blonde wig! She now has three wigs and they all look pretty natural on her!

This girl cracks us up with the attitude, look, and all!
