I wish I had a sister.... I see my friends with sisters and I am so envious how lucky they are to have some one who understands them and where they came from. Only those without sisters might understand my loneliness!!
Okay I really LOVE this picture though.....how beautiful is Idaho!! One Lonely Sunflower shining bight among millions and millions of wheat with blue sky and mountains in the background!! I never thought I could miss where I grew up but I do, so many days of thinking out in the quiet fields thinking I am the only person for miles, hot days, cool nights, wide open spaces. Oh how I miss the Idaho in the summer and fall (not so much the winter)!

Oh this made me cry! If it makes you feel any better you were just like my sister for the first 9 years of my life so you have that special sister spot in my heart :) So anytime you need a sister chat.... I'm just a call away. Love ya!!!
That makes me sad...I guess I should have had another baby. But it could have been a boy and you still wouldn't have had a sister. I am sorry that my picture makes you feel alone! I just thought it was a cool pict!
Oh that is so sad Jill! It's true that nothing can take the place of close female friends and sisters to talk to. Your comments strike a chord with me b/c just recently I've been thinking of my daughter Lillian, and how she'll have no sisters. We're planning on being done, but I feel so guilty depriving her of any possible sisters! But . . if it was a boy, 4 brothers is sure a lot for 1 girl (and 1 mom) to handle! :S What to do . . .
PS: Do you think you're closer to your mom than you would be if you had sisters? For my sake, I'm hoping that's the case. I'm wondering if I can come close to filling that need in Lillian's life, or if it's something else entirely.
